Demi Lovato To Host Teen Choice Awards 2012

Demi Lovato's career just seems to be going from strength to strength recently and the star has now been named as the host of this year's Teen Choice Awards, fans will be happy to hear!

The Disney star turned X Factor USA judge will present the annual star-studded event on July 22 and the show is most likely going to include a hell of a lot of pretty band boys and a LOT of gunge. So, if your a fan of Bieber and One Direction - which seems to be majority of the globe right now...be sure to tune in.

Demi's career definitely seems to be going from strength to strength after she was revealed as a new judge on the US version of the X factor earlier this year and the Teen Choice awards will definitely push the teen queen's career up yet another notch.

"Fresh off of news of her X Factor gig, Demi Lovato is set to host this year's Teen Choice Awards on July 22. The singer and former Disney star will join Cat Deeley and others for the live show on Fox," reports EW.

The bash has previously been hosted by the likes of Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and even Jessica Simpson.

The singer spoke about her relationship with the 1D star in a promo video for the X Factor auditions in Providence, Rhodes Island saying; "No, I'm not [with him]. He's really sweet and he's one of my really good friends now."

She added: "But I'm single at the moment and I plan to be for a long time because I need to focus on my career and myself and my wellbeing before I think about getting in a relationship with anyone."
