Romance Over For Niall Horan And Demi Lovato? Claims American Idol Rival Jennifer Lopez Is Hotter

Looks like the romance between Niall Horan and Demi Lovato may be cooling after the X Factor judge denied that she was romancing the One Direction star. Now the 18 year-old Irish star has got his own back and claimed his biggest celeb crush was Jennifer Lopez - not Demi.

Only a few weeks ago, the 'What Makes You Beautiful' hottie was hinting that things were going well with the X Factor USA judge and while he wasn't sure “what would happen” he was excited about where it was going.

Well it seems after a string of Skype dates and even a day out with her family the romance has fizzled, at least on Demi's side who recently claimed that she was “just friends” with the singer, surely the biggest put down you can give a guy who is clearly crazy about you.

"No, I'm not [with him]. He's really sweet and he's one of my really good friends now," she said in an X Factor promo.

"But I'm single at the moment and I plan to be for a long time because I need to focus on my career and myself and my wellbeing before I think about getting in a relationship with anyone."

Ouch! That told Niall!

To get his own back, Niall named Jennifer Lopez, judge on the X Factor USA's rival show American Idol as his top celebrity crush, only a few weeks ago he had said it was Demi Lovato.

In an interview at the start of June he told US channel 955 his celebrity crush was Demi, he said: "Demi Lovato - she's a beautiful girl."

When asked who he would prefer out of Demi and Kim Kardashian he replied: "Demi definitely."

Not anymore it seems as he told Florida Radio Station 93.3 in a recent interview it was Jennifer Lopez.

Perhaps after crashing and burning with Demi, Niall is following Harry's lead and going for the older lady, after all Jennifer maybe hot but she is 24 years older than him!

The rest of the boys named a string of Hollywood beauties as their top crushes, including Jennifer Love Hewitt for Harry, Halle Berry for Zayn and Natalie Portman for Louis.

Seems they are all a fan of the older lady!
