X Factor Judge Tulisa Reveals Stabbing Arrest

The latest episode from X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos' dangerous past has been revealed - that in September 2008 she was arrested in connection with a stabbing, after she fleed the scene and contacted her manager about worries it could stain her reputation.

According to The Metro, an authorised biography of the singer and talent judge reveals that in September 2008, Tulisa and her cousin and then-bandmate Dappy attended a birthday party for boyfriend at the time Adam Bailey, which saw a 20 man brawl breakout.

After a man was stabbed, the star reportedly panicked and fled the scene, reportedly calling manager Jonathan Shalit for advice before contacting the police due to worries it would destroy her reputation.

After Bailey was accused of wounding with intent and dangerous driving, Tulisa was arrested and had to appear at Blackfriars' Crown Court.

It also reveals how the story never made the papers, despite N-Dubz being minor stars at the time, with manager Shalit ensuring the incident received no publicity.

The passage from the book reads, serialised in The People reads: "Fortunately, on the night itself, Tulisa had the presence of mind to call Jonathan Shalit and any fallout was well-managed. Incredibly, the arrests of Tulisa and Bailey never made the papers at the time.

"That would certainly not happen today when she is a far bigger star."
