Nick Hodgson of the Kaiser Chiefs has revealed that he would consider joining the X Factor panel if offered enough money.

The drummer told Bang Showbiz that, despite his bandmate Ricky Wilson having turned down a judging role on The Voice UK, he would be willing to sign up for the right amount of money.

"It depends what the money was like," he explained. "Seriously, if they want to pay me £1 million to sit there and slag everyone off then I'd do it."

"The thing is, they have gotten a bit suspect now," he added. "It's like, 'Hang on a minute - these people haven't even just turned up to auditions!' So you sort of stop believing them."

Nicole Scherzinger was revealed to have signed up as the fourth X Factor UK judge yesterday (June 15), completing the lineup for the show's ninth series.

The Kaiser Chiefs recently released a greatest hits compilation, but told NME that they plan to start recording a new album this autumn, after the UK festival season finishes.
